Kim graduated from Advanced Fuller School of Massage in 2012 and has been a practicing licensed massage therapist since. She completed specialized curriculum courses in Swedish massage, Reflexology, Deep tissue massage, Prenatal massage, Sports Injury massage, Chair Massage, Myofascial, Craniosacral therapy, neuromuscular therapy, and medical massage. Kim has also completed continuing education courses such as "Releasing the rotator cuff" and "Orthopedic massage techniques for Cervical Pain".
Kim received extra education in anatomy and kinesiology after having graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tidewater Community College's Occupational therapy assistant program in 2016. This curriculum also incorporated courses focused on psychology and neuroscience as well as specialized training on how to help individuals become more independent during their activities of daily living while recovering from an injury, illness, or living with a neurological or genetic conditions. She worked at Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital in an inpatient rehabilitation facility from 2016-2018 helping individuals recover from brain injuries, strokes, motor vehicle accidents, multi-trauma, and orthopedic surgeries. Kim also most recently worked at Williamsburg Landing, a skilled nursing facility, helping the geriatric population with short term inpatient therapy, assisted and independent living environments
